Arthur Brown Jr., the architect of San Francisco's award-winning City Hall, originally designed the hotel in 1911. The 80 rooms are very comfortable, featuring poster or partial-canopy beds, Louis XVI furnishings and include refrigerators, individually controlled thermostats, cable TV with pay-per-view channels, on-demand movies and Nintendo, two dual-line telephones in each room, voicemail, high-speed wireless Internet access (nominal fee), safes, hairdryers, bathrobes and umbrellas. In tune with the best of San Francisco dining, the Warwick Hotel's La Scene Cafe' & Bar, serves Mediterranean cuisine with a Californian flair with a wide selection of very good wine. 'La Scene' is also open daily for breakfast. (Guests booking triple and quad rooms should note that these will consist of a junior suite with a sofa bed). Please note: Following quality enhancement plan; re-painting and renovation of the hotel's Lobby is taking a place and should be completed by early May of 2009. Other operations will not be effected during renovations and hotel will do its best to avoid any disturbance to hotel's guests.
