Description: The rooms differ in size, shape & furnishings and although they are all traditionally furnished and decorated they vary considerably in style. They are all in exceptional condition, however and are very charming. The restaurant is, like the rest of the hotel, elegant and stylish whilst retaining considerable rustic charm. The hotel is renowned for it's grandeur, it dates from 1909 and is somewhat of a landmark hotel. It is a large property built of wood in the style of a traditional Swiss mountain hotel. The hotel lobby is of a medium size and is elegant and welcoming. This is arguably the best hotel in Geilo with a great reputation to uphold.
