The Grau Roig sector is one of the largest of the six that make up Grandvalira. Within this zone we find the mountains that form the Pessons and Colells cirques, a large open glacial area that has given way to multiple routes for skiers and snowboarders of all levels.
To this we have to add the countless off-piste opportunities that it also offers. Until 1976, the Grau Roig runs could only be found around one mountain, the Pic d’Envalira. It wasn’t until the 80’s that the area was extended to Pic de Montmalús and Pic del Cubil, in the direction of Cercle dels Pessons and the Els Cortals d’Encamp zone
